I cannot stand on my feet an longer than 15-20 minutes before they are absolutely killing me. My diagnosis are AS, Fibromyalgia, sjogrens, Raynauds, and neuropathy. I hear how people describe neuropathy as pins and needles but I don’t have that. I never know how to explain it but my feet just hurt and the longer I’m on them the more swollen and red and hot they become. I have to literally plan each day around my feet, meaning I have to decide what hideous shoes to wear for the day, to making… read more

Looking for some support. A brief history. I started experiencing inflammatory issues mainly in my neck around the age of 23. I just listened to another Autoimmune Besties podcast
They have such good food for thought and always leave me wondering what everyone here would say to the topics they bring up. So in that light, what are your fears surrounding spondylitis and how do you cope with them?

Just curious who's has the injections into the SIJ for Ankylosing spondylitis what was your outcome ? How often did you feel pain free how often did you have flares and what was your other side effects related to having the injections ? Since I've had them the pain subsided 80% of the time now and with the help of naproxen it's great but my periods are messed up... but thankfully lighter and more painless. But now I've got some serious teen acne going on lol 😆
