I've had increasing balance problems ever since I was diagnosed with spondylosis and spinal stenosis in 2016. I've gotten to the point where I cannot even stand up long enough to zip my pants when getting dressed. I started off using one cane then two, then a walker (as of now), and probably a wheelchair next. I cannot even stand up straight anymore.
Mine was the nerve compression in my neck. See a neurologist.
Yes I do, and I feel down many times and banging I am always full of brusis for this problem
Yes! Getting out of bed I have to hang on to my dresser, which is close by, until I can straighten out to walk. I'm walking more and more like I have had one too many drinks! I'm off balance and find myself waddling. It's embarrassing, but you have to keep moving. Waiting for relief from my biologic that I just started. Have had three infusions, so far, of Simponi Aria, but no results yet. I was told it takes 3-4 months.
I have balance problems mostly in the morning. I have had two complete knee replacements and I've been blaming it on that
I have balance issues myself but for the reason nobody has ever said..I have fractures, stenosis, leg length discrepancy that I just started having a issue with, Nr-AxSpA, DDD, spondylosis, osteoarthritis, rt vestibular hypofunction, and a whole slew of other things... C5 C6 ACDF.. it's irritating... have you not found a good neurosurgeon? I feel for you.. hopefully everything will work out and you get the help you need, I use a cane, they wanted me to use a walker but the way I lose my balance id just hurt myself with one I'm afraid
