Finally linked all the many symptoms - over many years - together and investigated ankylosing spondylitis. Learned that I am HLA-B27 positive and realized that my father was disabled at 50 yrs old - probably due to undiagnosed AS. Thankfully, my inflammation is moderate and non-radiographic. Have you tried natural progesterone? Find a doctor who is experienced in natural remedies and health, most doctors are sales reps for big pharma and no nothing else but natural progesterone is the same as the hormone made in the body and they can't make money out of it but it is a great help for the bones and doesn't have nasty side effects.
I take natural progesterone as part of my HRT, I suffered badly with PMT for many years and ended up in the phyciatric hospital, 1 week out of the month I was like a different person and couldn't cope with my life. The day my period started I was fine again, it was like a black cloud lifting. The doctors told me that the progestogen could bring it back and I was already taking the natural progesterone for the PMT, it had taken them years to find something that worked for me so I researched it and found that I could have it instead of the progestogen and take estrogen only patches and add the progesterone for 14 days in the second part of the month. This has worked great for me and I feel great on it. It's also protecting me from osteoporosis and keeping my bones strong. Have a look into it, however doctors won't tell you about it cos big pharma makes so much money from progestogen which they own the patent for so don't expect any help from them. X
I’m not due for another bone scan before the end of 2021.
Thanks, Linda. Have you seen the negative numbers improve - or simply stay the same? hugs back!
Ive been on Prolia shots every 6-months for my osteoporisis. Ive taken 3-shots since March 2020. I also could not take Fosomex.
