I take pain meds. I try to take as little as possible but the pain gets so bad it makes me throw up. I have very few disc left and spurs on my spine. Sometimes the pain meds make me sick. If I eat a few saltines before I take it and a few after the nausea seems to be easier.

Also, keep telling your doctor til you get an answer or a change in the meds you were given.

Tried the pain meds, they made me sick and did not work.
Consider trying oral gingee root capsules, or chewing on candied ginger. It is useful for the chronic nausea that is caused by both severe pain and many, if not all, of the oral medications.
Also, try Slippery Elm capsules, as this is very soothing to the entire gut tract.
