Craig I am having Needling done for a muscle in my leg and for the first time in over three months the muscle has finally stopped spasming and I can walk without my cane. I just wonder if it will work with the back.. thank you for your input it's always valuable.
It didnt work to awaken dead back muscles, but i do hear good things about needling. If i was you i would give it a try, doesnt hurt, needles are thin as hair
so when doing the dry needling to your spine it didn't work for you then, correct? right now they are doing it to help my muscle that keeps spasming just above my knee that I had a complete replacement back last June. Did great until this past December then the spasms were so bad that I would almost end up on the floor. While going through these treatments I was wondering if this type of treatments would work on my spine then when the doctor told me the other day of my final diagnosis it made me think even more about whether it would work on my spine and the pain I go through at times.
sorry so long winded. thank you for messaging me Craig.
Years ago i had dry needling to try and activate some dead muscles in my low back.Therapist said because them muscles were just lying there not working, muscles around them were constantly being strained. Needling did not work for me.Can say i couldnt feel them doing it though and they went very deep around spine
